In the period between 1 January 1990 and 22 July 1994
the Yugoslav dinar five times was devaluated due to hyper inflation.
A total of 27 tens digits were deleted: January 1, 1990: 4 tens digits (10000 YUD = 1 YUN)
July 1, 1992: 1 tens digit (10 YUN = 1 YUR)
October 1, 1993: 6 tens digits (1000000 YUR = 1 YUO) January 1, 1994: 9 tens digits (1000000000 YUO = 1 YUG) July 22, 1994: 7 tens digits (12000000 YUG = 1 YUM)
Thus,
1200000000000000000000000000 old Dinars (YUD) from 1989
correspond to 1 new Dinar (YUM) from July 22, 1994.
